November 2 Election

I've noticed that when many people vote, they act like they are taking a high school "multiple guess" test. They do no research on who the're voting for, and when they see one unopposed name, they vote for it. That's how incompetent politicians keep getting elected.
People think they have to vote on every candidate. Actually, you can just go vote for one person you believe in, and leave the rest blank. There are a few candidates I am not going to vote for, who are running unopposed, because I know they should be replaced. They are RINO's mostly.
I was going to (gasp) vote for one Democrat this year, but he has become ashamed of what the party has become, and changed to Republican. That's become a popular "Change".
I get an absentee ballot so I can study who I am voting for, and not vote out of ignorance-like many do. And, I vote for the person, not the party.
I predict Cindy Hill, Cynthia Lummis, and Cynthia Cloud will win. They are even popular with my Democrat friends. When someone does a good job, they do a good job, no matter the party. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind not voting for them, unless they are a sexist.
I also predict Matt Mead is going to be our next governor. He is spending over 2 million dollars to get elected. And, people vote for money. Whoever spends the most, especially on TV ads, wins. These days people let their TV think for them.
I wanted to see Micheli get elected, however, he is out of the race now. But, an independent, Taylor Haynes, is running. I am voting for him. He is a good conservative, and stands for Wyoming's ideals and morals. He tells it like it is, instead of just saying what the public wants to hear, like others do. Check him out at haynesforgovernor.com
We need people who will stand up against what is going on in Washington. We won't have it with Matt Mead and Obamacrat-Leslie Peterson.
Remember, when you make that little dot, our future is at stake.

Has Obama Done Something Good?

Nobody is ALL bad, and nobody is ALL good either. So, since Obama was elected 2 years ago now, I have tried to find something he has done that is good. The only thing I know of is he has raised the price of gold.
When he was elected, the price of gold was 850 bucks an ounce. Now, it is 1,380 dollars an ounce. And, it is going up every day. I have my computer set so that it tells me instantly what the price of gold, silver, and platinum is.
Of course the increase of the value of gold is only good when you own gold. And, who does? When 10 to 30% of American workers are unemployed, (depending on which part of the country), do you think they have gold? Many of them are lucky to have a sandwich. That's called: Obamanomics.
What is really bad, is when gold goes up that means the value of the dollar is going down. You can't just print money, and borrow from Communist China trillions of dollars, without decreasing the value of the dollar.
Have you noticed how the price of imported things have gone up--like oil, tires, steel, lumber, etc.? Food will be next, as much of it is imported now. Actually, imported goods would cost more than they do, but our recession is causing recessions all over the world.
I am afraid, with what the Obamacrats in Washington are doing, our country is going to go bankrupt. Are you ready to go back to the barter system? Do you think your doctor will take a couple chickens for delivering that baby?
Oh well, as your standing in the soup kitchen, just blame Bush--Obama still does. I just wish I had bought some gold when Bush was president.

Obama's "Mission Accomplished" Speech

On August 31, Obama is going to make his Iraq War "Mission Accomplished" speech. Of course he is going to try to take credit for what our soldiers have done. He will blame Bush--as usual. And, he is going to try to make excuses for his failed presidency.
The Democrat news shows say that 50,000 troops will stay in Iraq--indefinitely. Just like Japan, Germany, The Philippines, Cosovo, Kuwait, South Korea, and who knows where else. I have always believed that is why Bush Senior did not take over Iraq, during the liberation of Kuwait.
I wish when Obama reads the speeches his writers write for him, he would put one of his teleprompters near the camera, so it would look like he is talking to America. I wonder if his neck gets sore from jerking his head back and forth while reading the teleprompters on each side of him? It is starting to get comical.
He has been vacationing at Martha's Vineyard, which is a rich elitists playground. I wonder what that has cost us taxpayer's? But, I am sure it cost less than his wife's vacation to Spain. Anyone remember when Bush was attacked by the Democrat media for going to his ranch and clearing brush?
I just hope that when the voters pick a new president, they don't choose another "Community Organizer".

Micheli Attack

A lady wrote an op-ed stating she hoped the candidates would not stage dirty attacks on each other, and stick to the facts. Ron Micheli stated the same thing to me. Ironically, he is now the candidate being badmouthed.
Of course when Liberals and RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) attack him, that shows me he is doing something right, and makes me want to elect him even more. I have interviewed him one on one, 3 times, and I am more impressed with him than any politician I have talked to. And, as a charter member of the RNC (Republican Nat’l Committee), I talk to many people in politics.
I am also an organizer for the Sheridan TEA Party. We had a demonstration at the Republican Convention-protesting some RINOs in the legislature. Ron Micheli, and later Cindy Hill (vote for her too), came to talk to us, and hear our complaints. I was impressed with that. When he says he is for the people– he has proven it to me.
I think that if he is governor, he will be for the common man. Unlike the rich elitists we see in Washington.
Micheli is not a rich man like Matt Mead (see all the ads?). And he doesn’t ride around in a $50,000 SUV like Rita Meyer does. He is one of us. A working man. Of course you should go to micheliforgovernor.com and donate a few bucks to help out (I have).
Micheli has promised to fight the Federal Takeover of Wyoming’s medical business. Rita Meyer has promised not to.
Vote for Ron Micheli by Aug. 17th if you value your freedom and constitutional rights. Or, just roost on the couch and complain. Some of us care about our country.

Ron Micheli For Governor

I have studied the candidates for governor of Wyoming. And, I will vote for Ron Micheli.
I am critical of government. We have too many leftists in control of this country, and we don't need any more. So, I look for someone who has conservative values. Mr. Micheli passes the test with flying colors.
He has experience in business--he is a 4th generation rancher. That covers everything. I know, I am a 4th generation rancher too. A rancher can do bookwork, fix machinery and pickups, knows the cattle business and foreign trade issues, and is at home on a saddle or a desk chair (I prefer the saddle).
Ron Micheli has executive experience too. He served as the Director of The Department of Agriculture. He knows how state agencies work. He will hold them responsible during budgeting.
He was in the Wyoming house of Representatives for 16 years. He held positions like: Majority Floor Leader, Speaker Pro Tempore, Majority Whip, and Chairman of the House Revenue Committee. He was known for protecting the taxpayers, the unborn children, and supported the Constitution.
He is more conservative, I believe, then the other candidates. Wyoming is a conservative state, so that's what most of us want. For instance, if you don't believe in aborting babies, then he's your best candidate. If you believe in state's tenth amendment and second amendment rights, he is your man.
If you think your taxes are too high, businesses are under attack, the future of our country is in a crisis, then you think like Ron Micheli. He said: "I am running for governor because I love Wyoming and Wyoming's people".
This Saturday, 10:30 AM, at the Sheridan Holiday Inn, the candidates for governor will have a Gubernatorial Panel. The public is invited. So go ask questions for yourself-as I have. Educate yourself before you vote.
There are a couple of other candidates that are not too bad,but Ron Micheli stands out from the rest. So, why vote for second for third best, when you can vote for the best? He has my vote.

Where Was Obama on Memorial Day

I caught alot of flak about my last op-ed, in which I asked if anyone knew where Obama was on Memorial Day (he didn't lay a wreath at Arlington Cemetery). All I knew was what the Democrat TV news shows said, which was that he was on vacation in Chicago. My other news sources said the same.
I read many op-eds defending Obama. Only one writer knew where he was exactly, and only because he knows a man who was there.
So, why do I need to get my info from The Heritage Foundation, the newspapers, The Competitive Enterprise Institute, Gallup, The Associated Press, Reuters, The BBC, Newsmax, Human Events, The GOP, The DNC, Ask.com, Google, etc.?
All I have to do is ask.
So, here is my next question to the same wise men: Why doesn't Obama have a birth certificate? If he had one, all he would have to do is stand on the White House steps and show it to his accomplices in the Media. They would be glad to proclaim to the world he has one.
That would stop all the lawsuits--which supposedly cost Obama a million dollars in lawyer fees so far. And, stop the conspiracy theorists. And, people like me wouldn't be called a "Birther" by the leftists in the media.
I know I am asking alot, and I don't expect a REAL answer. But, it will be fun to read all the excuses.

Obama Avoids Memorial Day

Here in the Sheridan, WY area we had a nice Memorial Day parade and services. A large crowd showed up as there are a lot of patriotic people here. We support our troops and remember the ones who gave their lives for our freedom.
On the other hand, where was Obama? Does anybody know? Even his worshipers? According to his lapdogs in the TV media, he was "on vacation in Chicago". It shows his priorities.
Now, where was that horrible President W. Bush during his 8 years in the White House, on Memorial Day? According to my research on the web, he laid a wreath at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier (at Arlington Cemetery) every Memorial Day--except one. On that day, he laid a wreath near Normandy France, in memory and respect for our soldiers who lost their lives liberating Europe from Hitler.
Have you heard anything about that on your TV? Try getting your info somewhere else. You might learn something.
Of course we can't criticize Barack Hussein Obama, and his hate-America liberal crowd. He's special.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is coming up soon. It is on Monday, May 31. And, we should all honor it, whether we are Democrats or Republicans, Liberals or Conservatives, or whatever. We owe our military people a lot for what we have in this country. In fact we can never really repay those who gave their lives for our country.
About all we can do is remember and honor our heroes. Most people go to the graveyard and decorate the graves of family members. That is good, but don't forget to bring a few extra flowers for the nearby graves of soldiers who may not have any descendants left to bring decorations. Some of the veterans graves in this area go back to the civil war era.
Let's not forget the families of those who have died fighting for our country in the recent wars. They probably don't need flowers, they may need a sack of groceries, or some help with bills. Their breadwinner may be gone now, and they are having a hard time coping.
Check with your local media, there should be a local parade and memorial service too. Participate. It is more important than your favorite TV shows.
We enjoy our freedom in this country, and we can never really repay those who gave their lives, since the Revolutionary War, so our citizens can enjoy "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
