I just watched a video on youtube.com called: Hail Hitler-Hail Obama. It was filmed in June 2008, and is a black preacher who doesn't march in goosestep behind Obama. It is refreshing to see someone who can think for himself.
I have noticed similarities between Hitler and Obama too. As have a lot of people these days.
I highly advise my readers to watch this video, and remember that 5% of the black people did not vote for our first illegitimate president (no birth certificate).

Bessie Ackerley of Sheridan, WY
I wish to thank the Sheridan Press for printing an article, in the 8/1/09 edition, about the graduating class of 1909. It includes an ancestor of mine--Bessie Ackerley. She was my great-aunt and sister of my grandfather, Allen Ackerley.
Not many people got a high school diploma in those days-some still don't. So she should be commended for that. I have noticed in reading history, and helping trace my family tree, that women didn't get much recognition-unless they did something really bad. How many people know that Mozart had a sister who was a piano player and songwriter too?
I am proud of the fact that an ancestor, Flora MacDonald, is a hero in Scotland. She saved the life of Bonny Prince Charles in 1745, after the battle of Culloden. The English would have tortured and killed her if she had been caught. I have her picture on my wall. Bessie's too.
Bessie Ackerley and her family, were homesteaders, coming to Sheridan in 1892 or early 1893. They didn't strive to be famous, they just worked hard to turn sage brush and dirt into a productive ranch. Such as the ranches who feed the world today.
I am proud to be their descendant, and to carry on the family tradition.

Obama's Beer Summit
I, for one, am glad Obama's "Beer Summit" is over. I am tired of hearing about it. Of course it was just for show anyway.
Why do you think he had it on the lawn of the White House? That is called a photo-op. His disciples in the Liberal Media were happy to oblige their "Messiah". He can do no wrong according them, and his other worshipers.
According the Obama, he was ignorant of what went on when liberal Democrat professor Gates got taken to police HQ. But, he said the "cops acted stupidly". Now, who was stupid? The cops who answered the burglary in progress call, the hate filled Harvard professor, or Obama who, after attending a racist hate church for 20 years, showed his own racism against white cops.
By the way, unknown to most Americans, one of the cops was a black woman. And, she said she "voted for Obama, but will not vote for him again". The liberal Democrat news shows like ABC (All Barack Channel), according to their bias, will not put that lady cop on TV. So, people are ignorant of that.
The Liberal Democrats attacked the woman who called the cops when she saw someone breaking into a house. She didn't even know what color the two men were, but she is called a racist by the leftists. Do you think she will call about another burglary again? A lot of people don't these days.
And, are the cops supposed to find out what color burglars are before they respond? And not respond if they are not white? Wouldn't that be racism?
If Gates had been civil to the police, and thanked them for seeing who was breaking into his house, like had happened not long before, then everyone would have been happy. Instead he cussed them with words involving "mother". That is a sure ticket to jail. Ask any cop.
I have had cops harass me before, and they also saved my life once when a 3 men tried to kill me. Cops are only human, sometimes they make mistakes too, but, think of the chaos without them? Especially when the Democrats keep trying to disarm law-abiding citizens (that's coming up again).
I wish the public could have seen the picture on the internet, of the white cop holding the arm of the older black professor while going down the White House steps--while Obama was smiling for the cameras.
Of course Joe Biden was at the "Beer Summit". As a good liberal Democrat, he wouldn't miss out on a free beer.
You could say that Obama was stupid for calling the police stupid. However, I don't think anyone gets elected to office by being stupid. I wonder what his motive was. That is what worries me.

Obama's Birthday Present
August 4th was Obama's birthday, and people have been making humorous comments on what to give him for a present:
Wyoming Representative,Cynthia Lummis, said she would like to give him a sheep pelt to sit on, so he could be comfortable, during his many trips on Air Force One.
I thought it would be nice to give him a birth certificate, since that is one of the few things he doesn't have.

Obama's Latest Scandal
I have published this as every American should keep themselves informed of Obama's blunders...
Sgt. Crowley, a Cop in Full
by Patrick J. Buchanan
Sunday, professor Louis Henry Gates retreated from his threat to sue Sgt. James Crowley. Friday, President Obama retreated from his charge that the Cambridge cops "acted stupidly."
As Crowley has not budged an inch -- his arrest of Gates was correct, and there will be no apology -- there is no doubt who won this face-off. Game, set, match, Crowley and the Cambridge cops. It is, indeed, as Obama said Friday, a "teachable moment."
And those most in need of teaching are the professor, the governor of Massachusetts and President Obama. By charging or suggesting Gates was a victim of racial profiling, all three were guilty of having reflexively reverted to racial stereotypes about white cops.
Here is the chronology. Answering a 911 call about a break-in in progress, Crowley encountered the professor inside the house. According to Crowley's report, his request for Gates' I.D. was initially rebuffed, and he was accused of hassling Gates because he was black.
The professor made a slurring reference to Crowley's "mama." The professor then raised such a ruckus Crowley arrested and cuffed him. Once in the street, Gates bellowed, "This is what happens to a black man in America." Gates then called Crowley a "rogue cop." Gov. Deval Patrick declared Gates' arrest "every black man's nightmare."
Obama said the Cambridge cops had "acted stupidly" and went on to elaborate, on nationwide TV, on the sad history of racial profiling of blacks and Hispanics by police. Thus the two most powerful black elected officials in the U.S., with no hard knowledge of what happened, came down on the side of a black professor, their buddy, against a white cop and his department, implying racial motivation in the arrest of Gates.
Yet there is still not a shred of evidence for their rush to judgment. Crowley's partner in the arrest was a black officer who said he stands "100 percent" behind Crowley and that Gates acted "strange." Sixteen years ago, Crowley gave CPR to an unconscious Boston Celtics star, Reggie Lewis, in an attempt to save his life. The memory of his failure caused Crowley to break down in tears and haunts him to this day. Crowley was selected by a black police lieutenant to teach fellow officers about racial profiling. He has been doing this for five years.
And watching TV coverage for a week, this writer has yet to hear one cop anywhere condemn Crowley's handling of the incident. Outside the fevered imagination of Louis Henry Gates, then, where is the evidence Crowley engaged in racial profiling? The victim here is Sgt. Crowley, not professor Gates.
Crowley is the one defamed as a "racist" and "rogue cop." He is the officer whom Gov. Patrick implied perpetrated "every black man's nightmare." He is the cop on the Cambridge force who, Obama told the nation, "acted stupidly." If anyone has grounds for legal action, it is Crowley.
Indeed, upon what grounds would Gates sue? That he was wrongly arrested, when Crowley, his black partner, the Cambridge P.D., the police union and 1,000 cops would gladly come to Cambridge to testify that Crowley went by the book?
Moreover, no one says Crowley abused Gates in any way. And there were witnesses in the street to the arrest. And Crowley apparently had his mike open, and a recording of the incident exists.
But if Obama's racial reflexes served him badly Wednesday night, his political instincts served him well him on Friday. For he must have sensed that this confrontation was shaping up as three powerful black men coming down hard on a white cop with a stellar record who had only done his conscientious duty.
Obama picked up the phone, called Crowley, regretted his choice of words about him and the Cambridge P.D., walked into the press room and told the nation Crowley was a "good guy," he himself had misspoken, that he and the sergeant had talked about getting together for a beer.
It was a goodly slice of humble pie the president ate there, but it was a class act. To ask more would be churlish. As for Patrick and Gates, they, too, should eat a little crow.
The president's decision to go before the White House press corps also suggests Obama is acutely aware of the political peril here. For while his black support is rock solid, his white support is soft.
And Americans will usually side with an Irish cop over a Harvard don, especially when the professor is pulling rank and the cop is right. "This isn't about me," says Gates.
Sorry, professor, it is about you. You have shown the country why William F. Buckley won laughter all over America when he wittily observed that, rather than be governed by the Harvard faculty, he would prefer to be governed by the first 300 names in the Cambridge telephone directory.

Sarah Palin's Cap and Trade tax op-ed
I am a big fan of Sarah Palin, and she wrote an execellent and informative op-ed, so I am publishing it in my blog as the Liberal News Media won't. They don't want the public to see how intelligent she is:
Americans are going to pay, literally, for who they made president...
The 'Cap And Tax' Dead End

There is no shortage of threats to our economy. America's unemployment rate recently hit its highest mark in more than 25 years and is expected to continue climbing. Worries are widespread that even when the economy finally rebounds, the recovery won't bring jobs. Our nation's debt is unsustainable, and the federal government's reach into the private sector is unprecedented.
Unfortunately, many in the national media would rather focus on the personality-driven political gossip of the day than on the gravity of these challenges. So, at risk of disappointing the chattering class, let me make clear what is foremost on my mind and where my focus will be:
I am deeply concerned about President Obama's cap-and-trade energy plan, and I believe it is an enormous threat to our economy. It would undermine our recovery over the short term and would inflict permanent damage.
American prosperity has always been driven by the steady supply of abundant, affordable energy. Particularly in Alaska, we understand the inherent link between energy and prosperity, energy and opportunity, and energy and security. Consequently, many of us in this huge, energy-rich state recognize that the president's cap-and-trade energy tax would adversely affect every aspect of the U.S. economy.
There is no denying that as the world becomes more industrialized, we need to reform our energy policy and become less dependent on foreign energy sources. But the answer doesn't lie in making energy scarcer and more expensive! Those who understand the issue know we can meet our energy needs and environmental challenges without destroying America's economy.
Job losses are so certain under this new cap-and-tax plan that it includes a provision accommodating newly unemployed workers from the resulting dried-up energy sector, to the tune of $4.2 billion over eight years. So much for creating jobs.
In addition to immediately increasing unemployment in the energy sector, even more American jobs will be threatened by the rising cost of doing business under the cap-and-tax plan. For example, the cost of farming will certainly increase, driving down farm incomes while driving up grocery prices. The costs of manufacturing, warehousing and transportation will also increase.
The ironic beauty in this plan? Soon, even the most ardent liberal will understand supply-side economics.
The Americans hit hardest will be those already struggling to make ends meet. As the president eloquently puts it, their electricity bills will "necessarily skyrocket." So much for not raising taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 a year.
Even Warren Buffett, an ardent Obama supporter, admitted that under the cap-and-tax scheme, "poor people are going to pay a lot more for electricity."
We must move in a new direction. We are ripe for economic growth and energy independence if we responsibly tap the resources that God created right underfoot on American soil. Just as important, we have more desire and ability to protect the environment than any foreign nation from which we purchase energy today.
In Alaska, we are progressing on the largest private-sector energy project in history. Our 3,000-mile natural gas pipeline will transport hundreds of trillions of cubic feet of our clean natural gas to hungry markets across America. We can safely drill for U.S. oil offshore and in a tiny, 2,000-acre corner of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge if ever given the go-ahead by Washington bureaucrats.
Of course, Alaska is not the sole source of American energy. Many states have abundant coal, whose technology is continuously making it into a cleaner energy source. Westerners literally sit on mountains of oil and gas, and every state can consider the possibility of nuclear energy.
We have an important choice to make. Do we want to control our energy supply and its environmental impact? Or, do we want to outsource it to China, Russia and Saudi Arabia? Make no mistake: President Obama's plan will result in the latter.
For so many reasons, we can't afford to kill responsible domestic energy production or clobber every American consumer with higher prices.
Can America produce more of its own energy through strategic investments that protect the environment, revive our economy and secure our nation?
Yes, we can. Just not with Barack Obama's energy cap-and-tax plan.
The writer, a Republican, is governor of Alaska.

Cap And Trade Bill (Utilities Tax Increase)
People, including my Democrat friends, have been asking me why I haven't been writing articles lately. I have been preparing, the best I can, for the Great Obamacrat Depression. One of the things I have done, is plant a garden. Of course with all the "Global Warming", on June 8th my garden froze.
What worries me now, is the Democrat controlled House of Representatives just passed Obama's so-called "Cap and Trade Bill". Socialism at it's core. Of course our Wyoming's Cynthis Lummis voted against it-that goes without saying. Republicans don't like Socialism.
Now, the Democrat-controlled Senate votes on this another Obama/Pelosi bill. I am sure it will pass, the Republicans can't stop it there either. Just remember this is the Democrats baby when you vote next year.
This "Cap and Trade bill, AKA The Carbon Tax, will cost us all money every time you turn on a light switch, or put gas in your car. Even the people who voted for their Messiah-Obama, because they thought they would get more handouts, will pay more. It will affect us all. Even those in a rest home will pay more (or their family and taxpayers will).
Of course the excuse for this tax on coal, natural gas, gasoline, etc. etc. is the Global Warming Hoax. My utility bill stated last year that every month but two, were colder than the year before. The same is going on now.
We had the coldest winter we have seen in over 10 years. It is around 80 below in Antartica right now (of course now the talk is about thawing at the arctic circle where it is spring and it thaws naturally). The propaganda films of thawing ice are years old.;
As for me, I have been taking care of my investments best I can. The year I expected to retire, is the year Social Security goes broke. And, I am nursing my garden back to life. I like to eat.
This carbon tax is estimated to double everyone's utility bill. Good luck. Got a wood stove and coal oil lamps? I do.
